Donations and Standing Orders
If you would like to make a donation or set up a standing order to support St Katharine’s Church, thank you! We don’t ask you to send any bank details online, please just email us so we can pass your details on to our Treasurer at st-katharines@savernaketeam.com.
Our Evensong collections from the second half of 2019 have been sent to the Disaster’s Emergency Committee Cyclone Idai Appeal (with the exception of the Harvest Festival collection which was sent to RABI). The remaining five Evensong collections for the first half of 2019 will go to the Diocese’s Sudan Fund.
Volunteering

Katharine’s can’t run without the help and support of a lot of wonderful people. Whether its arranging flowers, cleaning, making teas and coffees after family services or even going the whole hog and organising a fete, there’s a lot that goes into keeping the church running. Coming along to help decorate the church for harvest festival or our Christmas services is not only welcome, but a great way to meet some of the people who support St Katharine’s. All volunteers are very welcome and if you’d like to help out in anyway then please let us know – why not pop along to a service and have a chat or email us st-katharines@savernaketeam.com
ACORN
ACORN is a small group of volunteers who meet to arrange special services and events to bring the community together. Caroline Cunningham is the current Chair of the group so let her know if you have any ideas or feedback on how St Katharine’s can do more in the community.

The ACORN group was set up to focus on our outreach projects, finding ways of bringing the forest community together. We love welcoming new people to St Katharine’s as well as hosting fun events for all the family such as our super popular Palm Sunday Puppet Show.

ACORN also champions the Deanery ‘Come and See’ events which take place over Lent. Details of these can be found here
