Thank you to everyone who helped at last weekend’s wonderful Flower Festival – it was a wonderful community event and great to see so many people coming to enjoy the beautiful displays. We raised some much needed funds to help keep our wonderful church going and were delighted with the fantastic Puppet Shows kindly put on for the children (and adults) to enjoy!

New Trustees – may God be calling you to this role?

As we move into a new Triennium in the autumn the Trust Board of the Diocesan Board of Education will be joined by up to five new trustees. Might you be called by God to serve Him in this way?

We have an exciting three years ahead working with schools, academies and importantly, multi-academy trusts to shape our service to meet their needs. We will be working to help every church school fulfil their deeply Christian vision; schools at the heart of the parish communities to which they belong. Given so many people no longer carry cash we have now set up a Just Giving page and will have a QR code visible in church for people to use to make donations. QR codes (aka quick response codes) are images that, when scanned on a phone or tablet, take a person to a specific website page. This means, for example, that visitors or congregants could use our unique QR code to be quickly directed to our donation page where they can select an amount to donate.
